PM Modi at Kota
Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified the Bharatiya Janata Party’s political pitch in Rajasthan on Monday in advance of the next Assembly elections, which are planned for later this year. The prime minister announced numerous development projects while in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Later, he’ll go to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, which is going to the polls.
The PM unveiled and dedicated construction initiatives worth over Rs 7,000 crore in Rajasthan. In Madhya Pradesh, he will inaugurate and lay the cornerstone for projects worth approximately Rs 19,260 crore.
In Chittorgarh, he performed a massive road performance to the sound of “Modi Modi” chanting. Along with him were former chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and union minister Arjun Meghwal. Later, he spoke at a public demonstration in the neighbourhood as well.
PM MODI’S VISIT TO RAJASTHAN
A visit by the prime minister to Chittorgarh has begun. The Mehsana-Bathinda-Gurdaspur gas pipeline, built for Rs 4,500 crore as yet another move to support a gas-based economy, was officially opened by PM Modi while he was in the district.
He also opened the LPG plant on Abu Road, owned by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). This facility will package and distribute 86 lakh cylinders annually, which will reduce the annual operating distance traveled by vehicles that transport the cylinders by roughly 0.75 million kilometers and contribute to a decrease in CO2 emissions of around 0.5 million tons.
PM Modi inaugurated a four-lane road on NH-12 (the new NH-52) in the Darah-Jhalawar-Teendhar segment, one of the projects that cost more than Rs 1,480 crore to build. The route was required to make it easier to transport the mined goods from the Kota and Jhalawar districts.

Additionally, foundation stones were laid for the expansion of Sawai Madhopur’s railway overbridge from two to four lanes. Additionally, PM Modi opened a number of rail projects and tourist attractions, including the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota’s permanent campus.
