Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his call for ’24 mein 400 paar’ as he addressed a gathering at a jan jatiya mahasabha in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized that if the NDA can surpass 400 seats, then the BJP alone should aim for more than 370 seats. PM Modi clarified that his visit to Madhya Pradesh was not driven by election motives, despite contrary speculations. “The assembly election results in Madhya Pradesh already indicated the sentiment of the people here…I have come here as a servant,” he stated.

Referring to the chant ’24 mein 400 paar’ echoed by the attendees, PM Modi highlighted the opposition’s similar rhetoric in Parliament. “Even the opposition leader is saying in Parliament, ’24 mein 400 paar’,” he remarked. “When the opposition talks about ’24 mein 400 paar,’ I counter with the belief that NDA will cross 400 and BJP alone will exceed 370. And I will guide you on how to achieve it,” PM Modi continued.

He outlined a strategy urging supporters to identify polling booths where BJP received the highest votes in the last three years and add 370 new votes there. Additionally, he encouraged them to visit every household to elucidate the Modi government’s initiatives. “If you can do this, we will surpass 370 seats,” PM Modi asserted.

This isn’t the first instance of PM Modi mentioning the number 370 in relation to BJP’s election targets. During the recent Budget session of Parliament, he connected it to the government’s decision to revoke Article 370, sparking a political discourse on pre-election predictions.
