On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the people on the first anniversary of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He described the temple as a ‘great heritage of our culture and spirituality’.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Best wishes to all the countrymen on the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. This temple, built after centuries of sacrifice, penance and struggle, is a great heritage of our culture and spirituality.”
“I am confident that this divine and magnificent Ram temple will become a great inspiration in the accomplishment of the resolution of a developed India,” added the Prime Minister.

The three-day celebrations begin today, in line with the Hindu calendar. The event took place on Kurma Dwadashi during the Shukla Paksha of Paush month last year, while this year, Shukla Paksha falls on 11 January.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the event with the Abhishek ceremony of Ram Lalla.
The celebrations will include Agnihotra prayers with mantras from the Shukla Yajurveda, followed by the chanting of 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantras, and recitations of the Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa.
The temple will also host ‘Rag Seva’ on the ground floor from 3 PM to 5 PM, followed by a congratulations song at 6 PM.
Additionally, a Musical Manas recitation will take place at the first floor of the passenger convenience centre.
A Ram Katha, Manas Discourse, and cultural program will take place at the ‘Angad Tila’ within the temple premises.
According to the Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, over 2 lakh devotees visited the temple on 1 January to offer prayers.
Details Of Pran Pratishtha Ceremony & Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Lord Ram took place on 22 January 2024, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the main rituals. The idol of Ram Lalla unveiled following the ceremony.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, built in the traditional Nagara style, is 380 feet long (east-west), 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high. It is supported by 392 pillars and 44 doors.
The pillars and walls of the temple feature intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses.
In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, is placed.
Since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, lakhs of devotees have visited Ayodhya, and the number of daily visitors to the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has seen a significant rise.
