Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon state administrations to acknowledge a shared obligation to preserve India’s accelerated economic progress, irrespective of crisis magnitude. He described the present juncture as both a crucial examination and a strategic opening for coordinated governance under ‘Team India’.
Addressing the Rajya Sabha on the shifting dynamics in West Asia, he emphasised that forthcoming challenges will rigorously test national resilience.
PM Modi urged all states to collaborate actively and respond with a unified intent to counter emerging disruptions effectively. He underscored that economically weaker groups, labourers, and migrant workers endure the harshest consequences during instability.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed authorities to guarantee the timely distribution of benefits under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and implement structured monitoring systems to address migrant distress efficiently.
The Prime Minister also highlighted risks of hoarding and black marketing, advising administrations to remain vigilant and act decisively on grievances. He reinforced that collective action remains essential to maintain stability and navigate global uncertainty with discipline and foresight.
Recalling the coordinated response during the pandemic, PM Modi noted that the Centre and states together established an effective crisis-management framework despite political differences. He urged the continuation of that cooperative spirit to confront the present evolving situation.
Prime Minister Modi cautioned that the crisis remains fluid and may have prolonged repercussions. He advised patience, composure, and preparedness among citizens while assuring that the government remains alert, formulating strategies with utmost seriousness to protect public welfare.
