Once completed, this facility will provide tertiary healthcare to people in Bihar and surrounding regions.

PM Modi will also flag off train services in the Jhanjharpur-Laukaha Bazar section, with MEMU trains to facilitate easier access to jobs, education, and healthcare in nearby areas.

Launching Affordable Healthcare Access at Railway Stations

Furthering his commitment to affordable healthcare, PM Modi will inaugurate 18 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras at railway stations across India. These centers will ensure the availability of affordable medicines for passengers, promoting awareness of generic medicines and reducing healthcare expenses.

Strengthening the Petroleum and Natural Gas Sector

In the energy sector, PM Modi will initiate projects worth over ₹4,020 crore. These include the development of a City Gas Distribution network to bring piped natural gas to households in Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Sitamarhi, and Sheohar.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited will lead this initiative, supporting clean energy access in the region. Additionally, PM Modi will lay the foundation for a new Bitumen manufacturing unit at the Barauni Refinery. This unit, under Indian Oil Corporation Limited, will reduce reliance on imported bitumen, producing it domestically for road construction and infrastructure.
