Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 23,500 crore in the state on February 28.
The major event will be held in Ajmer, where the Prime Minister is set to dedicate the initiatives as a significant push to Rajasthan’s development trajectory.
Major Infrastructure Push from Ajmer
In a post on his official X handle, the Chief Minister stated that the Prime Minister will dedicate projects valued at Rs 23,500 crore to the people of Rajasthan from the sacred land of Ajmer. The programme will bring together large-scale infrastructure and welfare initiatives along with direct employment opportunities.
The event is expected to underline the government’s focus on strengthening core infrastructure and accelerating inclusive growth across the state.
Rozgar Utsav To Provide 21,000 Appointment Letters
Bhajan Lal Sharma said that alongside the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremonies, “appointment letters” will be distributed to 21,000 youth during a “special Rozgar Utsav.” The initiative aims to give fresh momentum to the aspirations of young people seeking stable government employment across Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister highlighted both the symbolic and practical significance of the Prime Minister’s visit, noting that it will energise ongoing efforts to build a developed Rajasthan.
The programme is anticipated to reinforce the state’s commitment to faster economic growth, improved infrastructure and enhanced quality of life for citizens.
The announcement has sparked enthusiasm among residents, party workers and youth organisations across Rajasthan.
