PM Modi To Attend Lakhpati Didi Program In Navsari On International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Lakhpati Didi program in Vansi-Borsi, Navsari, Gujarat, a major event aimed at empowering women.

Over 1.1 lakh women are expected to participate in the program, making it a groundbreaking celebration of women’s strength and resilience.

The Lakhpati Didi event will set a new precedent in the field of policing, as women will take charge of all aspects of the program’s organization and management.

An all-women team will handle the entire law and order arrangements, as well as event operations, showcasing the crucial role women officers play in maintaining public safety and security.

Women Leading The Event

The program will see a total of 2,165 women constables, 187 women police inspectors (PIs), 61 women police sub-inspectors (PSIs), 19 women deputy superintendents of police (DYSPs), 5 women deputy superintendents of police (DSPs), 1 woman inspector general of police (IGP), and 1 woman additional director general of police (ADGP) leading the event.

These officers will ensure the smooth execution of the program, highlighting the growing contribution of women in law enforcement at every level.
