The day also marks key initiatives aimed at promoting national development and public welfare.

Launching Key Development and Health Initiatives

On his birthday, the Prime Minister will visit Bhainsola village in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, to lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park, a project that will boost the state’s textile industry and generate employment opportunities.

He will also launch two major national programmes, ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month), aimed at enhancing health and nutrition services for women, children, and adolescents.

From September 17 to October 2, over one lakh health camps will provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services, including screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, non-communicable diseases, and maternal and adolescent health check-ups.

Public and private medical institutions will provide specialised care in gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, ENT, psychiatry, and other disciplines, while authorities will coordinate nationwide blood donation drives through the e-Raktkosh and MyGov platforms.

Through these initiatives, PM Modi reinforces his vision for a strong, capable, and self-reliant India, combining social welfare, economic development, and health empowerment as part of the nation’s journey toward progress.
