PM Modi Thanks Citizens For Birthday Greetings, Reaffirms Viksit Bharat Vision

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked people across the country and overseas for the greetings, affection and blessings he received on his birthday on Thursday.

In a message shared on social media, PM Modi said the warmth expressed by citizens had touched him deeply and strengthened his resolve to continue serving the people.

“My heartfelt gratitude for the wishes, affection and blessings that have poured in from all across. Every word of warmth is deeply cherished and gives me renewed strength to serve our people,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister’s Office separately said PM Modi described the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ gesture as a particularly meaningful expression of affection that touched him deeply.

PM Modi also recognised citizens who took part in service-oriented activities during the day. Various voluntary initiatives associated with the occasion focused on community welfare and public participation.

The nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign also commenced on September 17 and carries the theme ‘Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat’, placing citizen participation at the centre of the initiative.

The Prime Minister linked the occasion with the broader objective of building a developed India and urged citizens to contribute collectively to that effort.

“Let us together continue to build a Viksit Bharat,” he said, underlining the importance of sustained public participation in the country’s development journey.

The birthday message connected the public expressions of goodwill with wider themes of service and development. PM Modi’s remarks placed citizens’ participation at the heart of efforts associated with the broader Viksit Bharat vision.

The message therefore combined gratitude for the wishes he received with an appeal for continued engagement in public service and national development.
