PM Modi Slams Congress, RJD Over Bhagalpur Massacre & Bihar’s Division Politics

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a strong attack on the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during an election rally in Bhagalpur, Bihar, on Thursday.

He accused both parties of dividing the state through caste and communal politics and declared that Congress could never erase the stain of the Bhagalpur massacre.

PM Modi said the RJD dragged Bihar into caste violence, while Congress fueled communal riots.

He asserted that Congress can never wash away the stain of the Bhagalpur massacre, just as it cannot erase the stain of the 1984 Sikh riots.

“The mark of the Bhagalpur tragedy will remain on Congress’s record forever,” PM said.

He accused the two parties of destroying Bihar’s future and forcing its youth to migrate for work.

Modi Targets Congress, RJD

The Prime Minister affirmed, “Their politics of destruction ruined opportunities for young people. Because of their misrule, Bihar’s youth had to leave their homeland. The NDA is committed to ensuring that Bihar’s youth work and succeed in their own state.”

PM Modi also claimed that the Congress and RJD lack unity within their alliance. He said both parties were busy undermining each other.

He also stated, “Look at the RJD’s posters, do you see any Congress leader on them? And at Congress rallies, RJD leaders are never mentioned. They are so divided they fear each other’s shadow.”

PM Modi added that Congress leaders remain silent whenever the RJD makes any announcement.

Earlier in Araria, PM Modi addressed another rally where he accused a Congress leader of insulting Chhath Puja by calling it a ‘drama.’

He said such comments were an insult to Chhath Maiya and to millions of women who fast with devotion.

“The RJD remains silent when such disrespect happens. I am confident the women of Bihar will never allow the return of jungle raj,” he said.

Referring to the ongoing first-phase polling, Modi said people’s enthusiasm reflected massive support for the NDA.

“From every corner of Bihar, one voice echoes, once again NDA,” he said, praising women and youth for turning out in large numbers to vote.
