Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared heartwarming glimpses of his morning routine, showing him interacting with peacocks and miniature cattle at his official residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
PM Modi shared videos from the morning of August 15 and said the animals and birds appeared to realise that he would leave early for the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort. They came to meet him before his departure.
In the video, PM Modi feeds grains to peacocks during his morning walk and exercise routine. He feeds and gently pets native and miniature cattle kept at his residence.
Sharing the video on Instagram, PM Modi said feeding his ‘friends’ every morning formed part of his daily routine. He added that they seemed to know he would leave early for the Red Fort and came to meet him.

PM Modi keeps rare indigenous and miniature cattle breeds at his official residence, including a miniature breed native to Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.
The breed ranks among the world’s smallest humped cattle, with animals typically standing 70 to 90 cm tall.
The latest video offered another glimpse into PM Modi’s personal routine and his regular interactions with animals before his official engagements.
