Assam has witnessed repeated flooding due to incessant rainfall, affecting more than 11 lakh people across several districts.
The NDRF, SDRF, Army and local authorities are carrying out rescue and relief operations, while the state government continues to run relief camps, distribute essential supplies and restore damaged infrastructure.
