As the grand event of Ram Mandir’s consecration is nearing, the nation is setting up the stage for this historic moment to be celebrated and captured in every possible way. On Thursday, PM Modi released commemorative postage stamps and miniature sheets on Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. It has a variety of components that all joins to one place that is the majestic Ram Mandir. Along with the postage stamps, a book of stamps was issued on Lord Ram all around the world. Components of the design include the Ram Mandir, Choupai ‘Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari’, Sun, Sarayu River and Sculptures in and around the Temple.

Details on the components of Ram Mandir postage stamps
Components of the design includes, i) the Ram Mandir, ii) Choupai ‘Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari’, iii) Sun, iv) Saryu River, (v) Sculptures in and around the Temple
There are 6 stamps which include: Ram Temple, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj and Ma Shabri.
Gold leaf of sun rays and Chaupai lend a majestic icon to this miniature sheet. The five physical elements i.e. sky, air, fire, earth and water, known as ‘Panchabhutas’ are reflected through various design elements and establish the perfect harmony of Panchamahabhutas essential for all manifestations.
The stamp book is an attempt to showcase the international appeal of Shri Ram on various societies. This 48-page book covers stamps issued by more than of 20 countries including like US, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia and organisations like the UN.

7 days of rituals starts off in Ayodhya
Currently, 7 days of rituals which started on 16th of January are going on in Ayodhya. These rituals are going on ahead of the main consecration ceremony that is going to be held on 22nd January. Every single day of this week is going to be celebrated not only in the holy city of Ayodhya, but also around the nation.
