As Independence Day draws near, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is once again rallying the nation to embrace the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with renewed vigor.
In a recent social media update, PM Modi encouraged citizens to make the campaign a resounding success by changing their profile pictures to the national flag and sharing selfies on the website harghartiranga.com or https://harghartiranga.com.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “As this year’s Independence Day approaches, let’s again make #HarGharTiranga a memorable mass movement. I am changing my profile picture and I urge you all to join me in celebrating our Tricolour by doing the same. And yes, do share your selfies on https://harghartiranga.com.”

The campaign, which has gained significant traction since its inception two years ago, aims to foster a sense of national pride and unity.
PM Modi highlighted the campaign’s impact in his recent ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast, where he praised the widespread participation and urged citizens to continue their support.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah Urges Public To Join #HarGharTiranga Campaign
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also joined the call, appealing to the public to hoist the Tricolour at their homes from 9 August to 15 August and to upload their selfies on the campaign’s website.
Shah described the movement as a celebration of national unity and pride, stating, “The #HarGharTiranga campaign, initiated by PM Modi, has transformed into a national phenomenon. I encourage everyone to participate wholeheartedly, display the Tiranga at home, and share your moments on [harghartiranga.com](https://harghartiranga.com).”
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to amplify the campaign’s reach as it gears up to organize events in alignment with the Prime Minister’s vision for Independence Day 2024.
Launched in 2022 by the Union Ministry of Culture as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations marking 75 years of India’s independence, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign however continues to inspire a nationwide display of patriotism.
