Prime Minister Narendra Modi received an enthusiastic welcome from large crowds during a roadshow in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district on Friday.

PM Modi is visiting Gujarat on October 30 and 31 to launch development projects worth over Rs 14,000 crore in Banaskantha. He will release the 24th PM-KISAN instalment, worth around Rs 19,000 crore.

The facilities will process 75 metric tonnes and 100 metric tonnes of cattle dung daily, respectively.
Other projects include extending Ahmedabad Metro towards the airport and GIFT City, widening the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Road from four to eight lanes at a cost of Rs 2,600 crore, and developing 4,030 child-friendly Anganwadi centres.
PM Modi will dedicate 521 completed projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, worth around Rs 4,950 crore, and flag off the Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)-Varanasi Express and Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU services.
Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Ekta Nagar in Narmada district to inaugurate Bharat Parv 2026 and attend Ekta Prakash Parv as part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations.
