Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from thousands of citizens during a roadshow in Bhavnagar today.
Supporters line both sides of the streets, waving the Tricolour and chanting slogans such as ‘Modi Modi’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ as the Prime Minister passes by.
Students perform dances themed around ‘Operation Sindoor’ to honour the Prime Minister, while traditional dance performances also take place along the route. These displays offer a vibrant mix of cultural gratitude and community celebration.
The Gaya district administration and local authorities manage security and traffic to ensure a smooth and safe roadshow.
Designated routes guide the procession, allowing citizens to view the Prime Minister while maintaining order and safety.
The roadshow serves as a prelude to PM Modi’s participation in the ‘Samudra se Samriddhi’ programme later in the day.
Citizens gather in large numbers to witness the Prime Minister, reflecting widespread public enthusiasm and support ahead of the high-profile event.
Along the route, citizens shower flowers and display banners celebrating the Prime Minister’s initiatives and vision. The festive atmosphere highlights the connection between the government and local communities, emphasising public engagement during the roadshow.
Earlier, the Prime Minister wrote on X, “Today, 20th September is an important day for India’s maritime sector and our quest towards self-reliance. At around 10:30 AM, will take part in the ‘Samudra se Samriddhi’ programme in Bhavnagar. Works worth over Rs. 34,200 crores will be inaugurated or their foundation stones laid. These will benefit people across India. Key policies relating to the shipping sector will also be our focus.”
