Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met the Bharatiya Janata Party’s newly appointed national office-bearers at the party headquarters in New Delhi. He described organisational meetings as platforms for exchanging ‘new ideas and perspectives’ to strengthen the party and deepen its connection with people.
Sharing photographs on X, PM Modi said the interaction with party colleagues and the new organisational team was a ‘great interaction’.

BJP President Nitin Nabin welcomed the Prime Minister at the headquarters.
The meeting marked PM Modi’s first interaction with Nabin’s newly formed national team since its announcement earlier this week.
The 65-member team includes 51 new faces, with leaders from several states receiving key organisational responsibilities.
The interaction came as the BJP prepares for organisational and public outreach programmes, with youth engagement emerging as a major priority.
Earlier on Saturday, Nabin met the new office-bearers and emphasised ‘Yuva Samvad’, or sustained dialogue with young people.
The party plans outreach programmes for people aged 14 and above. It is creating dedicated teams with senior leaders from different states.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha will support team formation and coordinate mobilisation.
Former national office-bearers may receive campaign responsibilities.
The BJP is simultaneously strengthening its grassroots network ahead of upcoming Assembly elections.
Nabin will chair another review meeting at the BJP headquarters extension on Sunday.
State BJP presidents, organisational general secretaries and state in-charges will attend.
The meeting will review preparations for elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, besides discussing upcoming programmes and organisational priorities.
The developments followed the BJP’s resolution defending the historical legacy of Vande Mataram.
The party criticised the Congress Working Committee’s decision to retain its 1937 position of singing only the first two stanzas at party programmes.
The BJP said it would oppose efforts to subordinate Vande Mataram to ‘communal pressure, political appeasement, or narrow vote-bank considerations’. It further announced a nationwide campaign highlighting the National Song’s history and significance.
