PM Modi, Leaders Extend Foundation Day Greetings; Highlight ‘India First’ Vision

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), extended greetings to party workers on its Foundation Day, underscoring the organisation’s commitment to public service, development and the guiding principle of ‘India First’.

In his message, PM Modi praised party workers for their dedication and grassroots efforts in promoting good governance and advancing development across the country. He highlighted the BJP’s consistent focus on serving society with a nation-first approach.

Senior leaders reflected on the party’s evolution, tracing its ideological foundations to Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Deendayal Upadhyaya, and noting its rise to become the world’s largest political organisation.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah described the BJP as a vehicle for national reconstruction, driven by inclusive growth and effective governance. He further emphasised the party’s efforts to strengthen democracy, enhance transparency and expand welfare initiatives under PM Modi’s leadership.

Senior leader JP Nadda paid tribute to the party’s founders and workers, stating that its ‘Antyodaya’ philosophy, focused on uplifting the most marginalised, has shaped key governance and welfare reforms benefiting all sections of society.

Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Kiren Rijiju also conveyed their greetings, commending party workers for their dedication and their role in expanding the organisation while promoting development and self-reliance.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the BJP as more than a political party, calling it a movement rooted in democratic values and cultural ethos. He noted that its growth reflects the collective commitment of its workers to nation-building and public service.

Founded in 1980 after emerging from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the BJP has developed into a major national force, with a focus on cultural nationalism, governance reforms and inclusive development across India.
