PM Modi Inaugurates Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 at the India Expo Centre and Mart on Thursday. During the event, he interacted with several entrepreneurs showcasing their products, initiatives, and innovative solutions.

Entrepreneur Abhishek Grover, a beneficiary of the CM Yuva Yojana and PM Vishwakarma scheme, told reporters that both PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inquired about his company’s plans and youth engagement efforts.

“We have partnered with the Uttar Pradesh government to empower youth, women, and the differently-abled. The trade show is a great platform to showcase brands and increase youth participation in business,” Grover said.

PM Modi Praises Entrepreneurial Efforts

Nishat Mirza, attending the trade show for the second time, described her interaction with PM Modi as “a proud moment.” She said, “PM Modi asked me about our products and praised our work.”

Rahul Tyagi of Addverb said PM Modi visited their booth and spoke with CEO Sangeet Kumar, energising the staff.

Pooja Mishra, representing high-tech manufacturer Raphe Mphibr, said PM Modi discussed the company’s contribution toward self-reliance in defence with Chairman Vikas Mishra. She highlighted that their facility is ranked number one in India in many aspects, employing 700 people with plans to expand to 10,000 in the next three to four years.

Industry representatives emphasised that the trade show serves as a vital platform for businesses to display innovation. They added that it allows companies to engage with policymakers and highlight India’s growing focus on youth empowerment, technology, and self-reliance.

The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 will run from September 25 to 29, showcasing the state’s strengths in innovation, industry, agriculture, and culture to a global audience.

Russia is the partner nation for the five-day event, which will feature participation from leaders of global industries. Due to expected large crowds, authorities have announced traffic restrictions throughout Greater Noida during the event.
