High Court Bar Provides Financial Assistance To Widows Of 12 Deceased Lawyers

On Thursday, the High Court Bar Association, Allahabad, distributed financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the widows of twelve deceased lawyers. The distribution took place in the New Officer Room of the High Court.

The cheques were handed over by Senior Advocate Rakesh Pandey, President of the Bar Association, and General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma, along with the entire executive committee. The total amount provided by the Bar Association amounted to Rs 58.62 lakh.

Beneficiaries of the Financial Assistance

The widows who received the cheques include:

  • Ragini Singh, wife of Arun Kumar Singh
  • Nishat Anjum, wife of Irfan Hasan
  • Mamta Yadav, wife of Virendra Kumar Yadav
  • Munni Singh, wife of Sanjay Kumar Singh
  • Sunita Singh, wife of Ajay Singh (received Rs 4.20 lakh)
  • Prema Devi, wife of Radhe Shyam Maurya (received Rs 4.42 lakh)
  • Sharmila Srivastava, wife of Sanjeev Kumar Singh
  • Soni Kumari, wife of Shashank Shekhar
  • Ranjana Mishra, wife of Sanjay Mishra
  • Umang Singh, wife of Rajesh Kumar Singh
  • Kiran Lata, wife of Gulab Chandra
  • Pushpa, wife of Phool Chandra Yadav

The event was attended by several senior members of the High Court Bar Association, including:
Senior Vice President Kamlesh Kumar Dwivedi, Vice Presidents Amit Kumar Singh, Vivek Mishra, Raj Kumar Tripathi, Hanuman Prasad Mishra, Dinesh Varun, Joint Secretaries Barrister Singh, Shashi Kumar Dwivedi, Rameshwar Datt Pandey, Bindu Kumari, Treasurer Anjani Kumar Mishra, and Executive Committee members Anjali Singh Tomar, Kanak Kumar Tripathi, Divanshu Tiwari, Baldev Shukla, Abhishek Tiwari, Tripti Yadav, Aarti Gupta, Akhand Pratap Tripathi, Gaya Prasad Mishra, Girish Chandra Shukla, Aniruddh Singh, Avnish Chandra Tripathi, Krishna Mohan Pandey, Aditya Dhar Dwivedi, and Amit Singh Sengar.
