On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first edition of the School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) Leadership Conclave at Bharat Mandapam.
Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay was also present at the event.
The two-day conclave, held from 21 to 22 February, serves as a key platform for leaders from various fields, including politics, sports, arts, media, spirituality, public policy, business, and the social sector.
These leaders will share their life experiences and discuss different aspects of leadership.
Designed to encourage collaboration and thought leadership, the conclave aims to inspire young minds by offering insights from both successes and failures.
School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL)
The School of Ultimate Leadership is an emerging institution in Gujarat dedicated to nurturing leaders committed to public service.
It seeks to expand political leadership opportunities beyond traditional lineage, focusing on merit, dedication, and passion for governance.
SOUL provides the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of leadership in the modern era.
Earlier on Thursday, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tobgay arrived in Delhi and was welcomed by Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi expressed his delight on social media, stating that Bhutan’s Prime Minister’s presence at the event is a great honor.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “I will be inaugurating the SOUL Leadership Conclave at 10:30 AM tomorrow, 21st February at Bharat Mandapam. It is a matter of immense joy that my friend, Bhutan PM Mr. Tshering Tobgay will be gracing the Conclave with his presence.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony for SOUL’s upcoming modern campus in Gandhinagar on 14 February.
Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of the SOUL Board of Directors, along with SOUL Board Members, Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, former Finance Secretary to the Government of India and Chairman of the SOUL Executive Committee, and other dignitaries and senior officials, attended the event.
The SOUL campus, planned for development over the next two years at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore, will cover 22 acres near Gujarat Biotechnology University on GIFT City Road.
