Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India is more than a geographical entity—it is a thriving civilization with deep cultural roots. He highlighted India’s rich heritage and the unity that binds its people despite regional differences.
India’s Civilizational Strength In Podcast
PM Modi described India as a cultural identity rooted in centuries of tradition. “India is a civilization that dates back thousands of years,” he said, underscoring the vast linguistic and cultural diversity across the country.
Modi pointed to shared traditions that unite Indians. “From the south to the north, you will see immense diversity. But if you dig deeper, you will find a common thread,” he said. He cited Lord Ram’s presence across different parts of India as an example of this unity.
He stressed the role of rituals in preserving India’s historical continuity. “We invoke the entire universe before starting any ritual, from Jambudweep to Bharatkhand, Aryavrat, and finally to our specific family deity. This practice remains alive in every corner of India,” Modi explained.
Concerns Over Global Tensions
Shifting focus to international issues, PM Modi expressed concern over rising global tensions, including conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, and US-China relations. “Covid exposed the limitations of every nation. Instead of learning from it, the world has become more fragmented,” he remarked.
Modi criticized the failure of international institutions like the United Nations to maintain order. “Institutions meant to maintain stability are losing relevance. Those who ignore laws face no consequences,” he said.
Calling for peace and cooperation, Modi emphasized, “The world is interdependent. No nation can stand alone. The only way forward is peace and development.”
