The Indian Army’s field hospital is providing free treatment, medicines and emergency care to earthquake survivors under Operation Amistad, launched after the twin earthquakes on June 24 that claimed over 1,400 lives and caused widespread destruction in Venezuela.
The Ministry of External Affairs shared videos highlighting the impact of the Indian mission, with local residents expressing heartfelt gratitude for the assistance.

Local residents thanked the Indian medical team for its compassionate care, free treatment and timely assistance.
India’s relief mission reached Venezuela on June 28, with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar saying the field hospital and relief supplies would strengthen ongoing post-earthquake rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
