The message quickly drew attention across political circles, with leaders from various parties echoing similar sentiments and conveying their greetings.
Chief Minister Stalin began his birthday on a solemn note by paying floral tributes at the memorials of former Chief Ministers CN Annadurai and his father, M Karunanidhi, at Marina Beach in Chennai.
He also visited Periyar Thidal to offer homage at the memorial of social reformer Periyar EV Ramasamy, reaffirming his party’s ideological roots in the Dravidian movement.
Earlier in the day, Stalin shared a birthday pledge on X, declaring his resolve to remain steadfast in pursuing the ideals of the Tamil community. He emphasised unity, intellectual resistance to conspiracies and a commitment to serve the people with greater dedication.

Stalin said he continues to serve the nation by fulfilling his life’s duty through action, emphasising self-respect and social justice.
Moreover, with Tamil Nadu entering an election year, the celebrations gained political significance.
The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) also called the occasion a reaffirmation of its commitment to inclusive and welfare-oriented governance. Party workers organised outreach programmes across the state.
Amid sharp rivalries, the Prime Minister’s greeting reflected democratic courtesy as the day combined personal celebration with political messaging.
