Rahul Gandhi’s education began in New Delhi before he attended schools in Dehradun. Due to security considerations affecting the family, he and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra completed part of their schooling through home-based education.
Rahul Gandhi later pursued higher studies in the United States, earning a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College in Florida. He subsequently completed an MPhil in Development Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge.
Before entering public life, Rahul Gandhi worked with a consulting firm in London and later helped establish a technology outsourcing company in Mumbai. His political journey started in 2004 when he contested and won the Lok Sabha election from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
