PM Modi Engages With Religious Leaders; Highlights Education & Social Initiatives In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

On Thursday, PM Narendra Modi visited Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where he met with notable religious figures and community advocates. He highlighted the importance of education and social welfare initiatives.

The Prime Minister began his day by meeting Mahant Subhadra Aatya, known for her extensive work in advancing educational opportunities and empowering young girls.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “In Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, I met Mahant Subhadra Aatya. She has associated with the Mahanubhav Panth. Her work in education and empowering the girl child is very inspiring.”

Following this, PM Modi also engaged with other prominent Hindu religious leaders, including Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shantigiri Maharaj, Upadhyay Rishi Pravin, and Param Pujya Babhulgaonkar Maharaj.

In his post on X after meeting Param Pujya Babhulgaonkar Maharaj, PM Modi noted, “Param Pujya Babhulgaonkar Maharaj is widely respected for his noble thoughts and writing. He has authored several books and also conferred with various awards for that. Met him at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar earlier today.”

Following his interaction with Upadhyay Shri Rishi Pravin, PM Modi asserted, “It was wonderful to meet Upadhyay Shri Rishi Pravin Ji. He is widely respected for his study of Jain texts and culture. He has travelled extensively across India to promote harmony and brotherhood.”

Later, PM Modi posted about his meeting with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shantigiri Maharaj, stating, “Met Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shantigiri Maharaj in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. He has been at the forefront of numerous community service efforts and has been working to empower the poor and downtrodden.”

Additionally, PM Modi on Thursday addressed a large public rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

Lashing out at Congress and the Opposition’s Maha Vikas Aghadi, PM Modi stated, “The Maharashtra Assembly election is not only to elect a new government in the state. In this election, on one hand, some patriots believe in Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, and on the other hand some people praise Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb.”

NDA leaders, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, honored the Prime Minister, showcasing the alliance’s united front.**

Voters in Maharashtra will cast ballots for 288 Assembly seats in a single-phase election on 20 November, with results announced on 23 November.**
