According to the ‘Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker’ from a US-based consultancy firm, 76% of people are satisfied with PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, compared to 18% who are dissatisfied and 6% who did not express an opinion.
Alain Berset, the president of Switzerland, is ranked second with a 64% approval rating, followed by Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the president of Mexico, with a 61% approval rating. Modi is praised for successfully hosting the G20 Summit in New Delhi earlier this month.
Modi had been at the top of the list in previous rankings as well.

Joe Biden, the US president, has a 40% approval rating, Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, 37%, Rishi Sunak, the UK president, 27%, and Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, only 24%.
The most recent approval ratings, according to Morning Consult, are based on data gathered from September 6 to September 12. According to the statement, the rankings were determined using a seven-day moving average of adult citizens from each nation, with various sample sizes. The typical sample size in the US is in the range of 45,000. The sample size in the other nations is between 500 and 5,000.
