PM Modi Declares India Entering ‘Reform Express’ Phase At NDA Parliamentary Leaders’ Meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in New Delhi, announcing that India has now entered a full-fledged ‘Reform Express’ phase.

According to sources, he described this new stage as one defined by rapid, intent-driven and citizen-focused governance changes.

PM Modi said the government is pursuing reforms not merely to increase economic activity or raise revenues, but to fundamentally improve the daily lives of ordinary citizens.

He urged MPs to bring forward issues faced by people at the ground level so that the administration can respond swiftly and effectively.

Highlighting his government’s commitment to removing bureaucratic hurdles, PM Modi noted that lengthy forms, repetitive paperwork and outdated procedures continue to burden citizens.

He said the government aims to deliver essential services directly to people’s homes and eliminate the need for them to repeatedly provide the same information to different departments.

The Prime Minister recalled the government’s landmark decision to introduce self-certification for several services and schemes.

He said this policy was built on trust in citizens — a trust that has been validated over the past decade as the system has operated without significant misuse.

PM Modi reiterated that Ease of Life and Ease of Doing Business remain core pillars of the government’s agenda.

He said the ongoing reforms aim to make governance simpler, faster and more transparent, ensuring benefits reach households efficiently and without delay.

NDA MPs Congratulate PM on Bihar Victory

Earlier, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told the media that NDA MPs extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Modi for the alliance’s historic win in the Bihar Assembly elections.

He said NDA leaders felicitated PM Modi with a victory garland during the meeting and praised him for leading the coalition to a significant electoral success.

Rijiju added that the Prime Minister offered guidance to MPs on how best to serve their respective states and regions, emphasising accountability, development and responsiveness to public concerns.

PM Modi’s message at the meeting signals a renewed push towards administrative modernisation, digital integration and a governance model rooted in trust, efficiency and transparency.

As the ‘Reform Express’ gathers pace, the government aims to reshape public service delivery and create a citizen-centric ecosystem that supports growth, opportunity and ease of living across the country.
