PM Modi Birthday: Amit Shah Hails His Service, Dedication And Sacrifice

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing his public journey as one marked by service, dedication, sacrifice and commitment to the nation.

In a post on X, Shah described PM Modi as a symbol of hard work, sacrifice and foresight. He said PM Modi had made service to the nation the purpose of his life and that his journey had inspired millions of Indians.

Shah wished PM Modi good health and a long life, expressing hope that the country would continue to make progress under his leadership and move towards the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

PM Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Gujarat’s Vadnagar. He became Gujarat Chief Minister in 2001 and served in the post until 2014, before becoming Prime Minister in May 2014. He is currently serving his third term as Prime Minister and represents Varanasi in the Lok Sabha.

On Thursday, Shah will visit Vadnagar to flag off the BJP’s ‘Vadnagar to Varanasi’ Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra as part of the nationwide campaign marking PM Modi’s birthday and 25 years in public life.

Shah will flag off the yatra from Vadnagar at 9:30 AM, while a parallel Varanasi-to-Vadnagar yatra will begin simultaneously.

The twin yatras will, however, cover 40,000 km across 193 districts and 10 states, involving around 1,000 youths, and conclude on October 7.

In Vadnagar, Shah’s programme will begin with a Maha Aarti at Sharmishtha Lake, followed by a padayatra, the yatra flag-off and a cleanliness campaign at Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple.
