In his address, PM Modi also alleged that Kerala has remained influenced by “self-interested politics” under the alternating rule of the two fronts. He argued that this cycle has not delivered meaningful progress for the public.
Emphasis on Development-Oriented Governance
Highlighting the NDA’s approach, the Prime Minister spoke about a governance model focused on growth, opportunity, and long-term planning. He maintained that Kerala’s progress depends on adopting a fresh policy direction.
PM Narendra Modi reiterated that the BJP seeks to transform Kerala into a developed state. He outlined goals centred on economic progress, enhanced opportunities, and improved living standards for future generations.
The speech also underscored the NDA’s message that Kerala is ready to move beyond its traditional two-front political framework. It aimed to strengthen the alliance’s position as a credible alternative ahead of the elections.
The Prime Minister reached Palakkad by helicopter and proceeded through a roadshow route, where large crowds had gathered to welcome him. Senior BJP and NDA leaders also attended the event.
