In an exclusive interview with IANS on Monday, PM Narendra Modi addressed a myriad of critical issues confronting the nation.
Amongst these were concerns regarding external endorsements of Indian politicians by Pakistan, the imperative of combating corruption, and strategies for fostering ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

He expressed concern over the motivations behind such endorsements and called for scrutiny into the matter.

He emphasized the importance of policy-driven governance to minimize loopholes and reduce opportunities for corruption.
The Prime Minister highlighted the successful implementation of various schemes aimed at direct benefit transfer, which has minimized intermediaries and curbed corruption.
He underscored the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, emphasizing action based on evidence rather than perception.
Responding to queries on the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative, PM Modi emphasized the utilization of India’s vast manpower and abundant resources for self-sufficiency.
He stressed the importance of job creation, localization of wealth, and value addition to agricultural produce for global competitiveness.
PM Modi reiterated his government’s commitment to prioritizing national interests in policy formulation and execution.
In addressing the diverse needs of the nation, PM Modi highlighted the ‘One District One Product’ scheme and emphasized the importance of regional strengths in national development.
He cited examples of initiatives such as the G20 Summits held across India to showcase its diversity and attract global attention.

The PM highlighted efforts such as the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative and interventions during the pandemic to engage and empower the youth digitally.
