Addressing his final rally in Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to a massive gathering. Talking to the crowd in Kendrapara, PM emphasised the transformative journey of the state of Odisha. PM Modi said a new development era of development will begin in Odisha after June 4.
The PM expressed his confidence in securing victory in the legislative assembly elections of the state. Modi said, “On June 10th, Odisha will witness the historic oath-taking of the first BJP Chief Minister, who will be a son or daughter of Odisha.”
During the same rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed down to a SHG worker Kamala Maharana. Kamala was previously mentioned in Mann ki Baat. Kamala is known for her work in making a livelihood from the Garbage collection.
In early 2023, in the 98th episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged Kamala Maharana’s work on February 26.
Kamala Maharana has led a self-help group that made articles from the mil Pouches and plastic.
PM Modi appreciated the efforts of Kamala in making different household articles from waste materials while talking about waste-to-wealth initiatives. In that episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’ PM said that she had given a new dimension to Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. During that programme, PM called her his sister.
