Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday asked people to change the display picture on their social media accounts to the Tricolour in the spirit of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with only two days left for India celebrates its independence.
‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence’ is being held in India to commemorate the country’s 75 years of independence.
PM Modi has changed the display image of his social media accounts to national flag in order to promote this campaign.
Modi said on X(formerly called twitter), “In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us.”
PM has even requested the public to upload their photos with National Flag on www.harghartiranga.com. India will be celebrating its 76 years of Independence on Tuesday, and the Prime Minister is scheduled to address the nation on the occasion from the ramparts of the historic Red Fort.
Vehicular movement has been suspended on Sunday near Red Fort in the national capital ahead of Independence Day. With only two days left for Independence Day, preparations for the occasion have been intensified as full dress rehearsals of different armed forces are underway at Red Fort here in the national capital.
