In between the Israel-Hamas conflict, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar stated that India has always stood for the benefit of Palestine. Goyal went on to say that Pawar was part of the same government that shed tears during the Batla House encounter and remained passive during terrorist attacks on Indian soil. He emphasized the need to change this mindset and expressed hope that Pawar would now prioritize the nation.
