Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: PM Modi Advises Students On Exams, Tech And Leadership

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an engaging interaction with students during the second episode of the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, as preparations intensify for the upcoming board examinations.

Students from several states participated, seeking guidance on academics, stress, and personal development.

Addressing questions related to technology, PM Modi advised students not to allow digital devices to dominate their lives. He urged them to use technology as a supportive tool to improve skills and broaden knowledge, while cautioning that unchecked dependence could reduce independence and focus.

Mindful and purposeful usage, he said, is key.

When asked about vacation travel, the Prime Minister suggested that students identify meaningful destinations within their own regions as well as across the country. He encouraged them to travel with curiosity and an eagerness to learn, transforming holidays into enriching experiences rather than routine outings.

On the subject of leadership, PM Modi highlighted the importance of fearlessness. He motivated students to take initiative and act decisively, even if others remain hesitant.

Simple actions, such as keeping surroundings clean, can influence people positively, he noted, adding that leadership naturally develops when courage leads the way.

Responding to a question on managing stress during high-pressure situations, the Prime Minister compared such moments to examination anxiety. He explained that thorough preparation, regular practice, and complete focus on one’s goals help reduce stress. With sustained effort, clarity and confidence follow.

The episode was broadcast live from cities including Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati, Devmogra, and New Delhi, reaching students nationwide through Doordarshan and digital platforms. This multi-location format ensured wider participation and representation from diverse regions.

A Growing National Initiative

Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a large-scale national initiative, offering a supportive space for students, parents, and teachers to discuss examinations, time management, positivity, and life skills, while reshaping exam season into a constructive and motivating experience.
