National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Wednesday spoke with top global security officials. The talks came hours after India struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) under ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Doval spoke with US NSA and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, UK NSA Jonathan Powell, Saudi NSA Musaid Al Aiban, UAE NSA Sheikh Tahnoon and NSC Secretary General Ali Al Shamsi, Japanese NSA Masataka Okano, Russian NSA Sergei Shoigu, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and French Diplomatic Advisor Emmanuel Bonne.

Doval explained that India acted with restraint. He said the strikes were precise and non-escalatory, stressed that India hit camps run by Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Lashkar-e-Taiba. He made it clear that India wants peace but will respond if attacked.

India is informing key countries to build global support. Experts say this is part of a plan to frame India’s actions as anti-terror efforts.

The strikes hit targets in Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Barnala. These camps trained terrorists linked to the 2008 Mumbai attacks and the 2023 Poonch attack.

Officials said Doval will stay in touch with global counterparts. India wants to avoid escalation and show its resolve against terrorism.

Experts believe India sent a strong message. It wants peace but will act when needed. By reaching out, India shows it values transparency and international cooperation.
