On The Occasion Of Air Force Day Full Dress Rehearsal Of Parade Took Place In Central Air Command Bamrauli

Commanding in Chief Air Marshal RGK Kapoor administered garud of honour of the parade, at Central Air Command on Friday. Para hand glider Wing Commander Ashok entered the parade performing 360 degree aerobatics. He used to fly in the air for some time. After that two air warriors para motors flying in the air came in the parade.

The air warriors displayed great zeal, passion, enthusiasm and discipline in the parade. Full dress rehearsal started at Central Air Command Bamrauli campus from 8 am. In the parade, when the Para Hand Glider Wing Commander was seen coming down from the clouds, the audience welcomed him with thunderous applause. He performed a 360 degree acrobatics at a height of 200 feet in the air and came to the ground.

With this the parade sequence started and continued for about two hours. The air warriors gave a great performance in the air. At an altitude of eight thousand kilometers from the ground, 10 parajumpers jumped from a Boeing AN 32 aircraft waving the tricolor. The plane was not visible from such a height, but the spectators were thrilled when they saw parajumpers breaking through the clouds. People welcomed him with thunderous applause. After performing acrobatics in the air, a contingent of 13 Air Service personnel displayed mechanical skills.

These soldiers came on a vehicle and dismantled its parts in front of the audience within 5 minutes. They tied it again and left. With this the band performance of Air Service started. A group of soldiers paraded in front of the stage, marching with the band to the tune of the national anthem. This was the first time that the first women contingent of Agni Veer was included in the parade. 31 women of Mahila Agni Veer Team paraded. The same women will also parade on October 8. Air Marshal KGK Kapoor took the salute of the parade.

Some new traditions are being started for the first time on the foundation day of Air Service. This time the process of changing the flag was rehearsed. The Commanding in Chief installed a new flag in place of the old flag. All the soldiers were administered the oath of patriotism, patriotism, discipline and unity. He took the oath that we have to protect all the countrymen in an equal spirit without discriminating on the basis of caste and creed. During this period, many air warriors were also honored for their excellent performance.

In the end the Air Service commandos performed brilliantly. While a contingent of commandos was marching on the ground, five commandos in a helicopter appeared in the middle of the parade, hanging with the help of a rope. Seeing him, the entire pandal echoed with thunderous applause. Along with this, a brilliant display of discipline and drill was seen. A group of soldiers performed the feat with a 5.5 kg rifle. They demonstrated exchanging rifles with each other in a matter of moments. A tunnel was created by surrounding the rifle and the team leader came out from the middle performing a stunt.
