In a latest development from political arena in Haryana, the oath taking ceremony of Nayab Singh Saini as Chief Minister is now postponed to October 17 from October 15.
Earlier the top brass of BJP had announced the oath taking ceremony to be held on October 15. However the event is now shifted to October 17 for unrevealed reasons.
Nayab Singh Saini, who has succeeded Manohar Lal Khattar, will take oath at 10 in the morning of October 17. Notably Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also grace the event.

The BJP ended up with its best-ever haul of 48 seats, 11 more than the Congress. The JJP and the AAP were decimated and the INLD managed to win just two seats in the October 5 elections.
After securing a significant victory in the recent elections, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now preparing to form the government for the third consecutive time in the state. Three independent MLAs, including Savitri Jindal, mother of BJP MP Naveen Jindal, have extended support to the BJP.
As per an official, as many as 2,500 personnel would be deployed at the site alone to ensure proper law-and-order during the programme.
