In the CCTV footage released by the police, the Khalistani leader was last seen riding on a motorcycle (bike) wearing new clothes, a pair of sunglasses and a different turban to mislead those on his trail. In another footage, he was seen leaving the car and making his gateway along with aides in two bikes. This changeover takes place on a road by a lush green field.

According to the police, they believe that the 30-year-old radical leader might hide in a Gurdwara, he changed his clothes again and fled.

Moreover, several photos of Aritpal Singh have been circulated on the internet in multiple looks, suspecting that he might have changed his appearance and hoping people could help spot him.

The Punjab police have also seized the Brezza and four people who helped Amritpal Singh to escape have been arrested.

Over 120 people, including Amritpal Singh’s uncle, have been arrested since Saturday.  Under the stringent National Security Act (NSA) and in BJP-ruled Assam, several members of his outfit “Waris Punjab De” have also been arrested. HC slams Punjab police

The Punjab and Haryana High Court slammed the Punjab police and questioned how Amritpal Singh could give them the slip repeatedly.

“You have 80,000 cops. What were they doing? How did Amritpal Singh escape?” the High Court asked the Punjab government, calling it an intelligence failure.

The police crackdown on Amritpal Singh came three weeks after his supporters clashed with cops on February 23. They stormed a police station, flashing swords and firearms, threatening the police with huge consequences if they did not release Singh’s aide Lovepreet Toofan, who was arrested for allegedly assaulting and abducting a man.
