Digital Skills & Mental Health Support

The Digital India module introduces digital payments like UPI apps to primary students. Middle and senior students will learn about DigiLocker, Aadhaar, Ayushman Bharat, and the Umang App.

The module includes a story of a jewellery artisan from Rajasthan. It shows how small businesses gain from government digital tools.

The Mental Health and Digital Helpline module tells Rewa’s story. She handles her emotions with help from the National Mental Health Helpline, Tele Manas.

This story highlights the need to care for mental health among children and youth.

The Democracy and Electoral Traditions module explains India’s democratic journey. It covers the time from independence to today’s electoral system.

It also talks about the welfare state in Kautilya’s Arthashastra.

The COVID-19 module explains symptoms and safety methods using pictures and science-based activities.

Older students will make 3D virus models and talk to people affected by COVID-19.

In the Cleanliness module, young children learn from a cartoon character called the ‘Cleanliness Wizard’. Older students learn how personal habits affect public health.

The Sports module shares stories of India’s 2023 Asian Games wins. It includes athletes like Neeraj Chopra who inspire youth to serve the country through sports.

The Heritage and Development module talks about Indian monuments. It includes places like the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and the Kamakhya Temple in Assam.

Children will explore culture through stories and multilingual words.

These NCERT new modules aim to link students with technology and teach them about health, culture, democracy, and the environment.
