Taking to social media platform X, CM Yogi offered prayers to the Goddess and expressed hope that her grace would fill the lives of devotees with positive energy.

Devotees worship Maa Chandraghanta, the third manifestation of Goddess Durga, on Navratri’s third day, seeking courage, peace, strength and protection from evil.

Shardiya Navratri began on October 11, with devotees across the country observing the nine-day festival through prayers, fasting, temple visits and special pujas.

During the festival, devotees seek divine blessings for happiness, prosperity and well-being.

Temples witness special prayers and religious ceremonies as devotees observe traditional customs and express their devotion to the Goddess.

The celebrations will culminate in Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, which symbolises the victory of good over evil.
