On Friday, Narendra Modi secured his position as the leader of the NDA Parliamentary party, paving the way for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. Under his guidance, the NDA allies will present their claim to form the next government before the President later today.
In a momentous gathering at the Central Hall of Parliament, allies felicitated and garlanded Narendra Modi following his appointment as the Leader of Lok Sabha and the leader of the NDA Parliamentary party.
Demonstrating reverence for the Constitution, Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi touched it with his forehead and bowed down.
“I congratulate all the leaders for their win and also salute their efforts for working tirelessly to ensure victory for the alliance,” remarked the PM-designate, expressing gratitude towards the collective efforts that led to the triumph.
The atmosphere at the Central Hall was charged with fervor as chants of ‘Modi, Modi’ resonated upon his arrival.
Rajnath Singh, proposing Narendra Modi’s name as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary Party, credited him for the resounding victory for the third consecutive term, emphasizing that the alliance was a commitment rather than a compulsion for the BJP.
Backing Singh’s proposal, Amit Shah reiterated support for electing Narendra Modi as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary party.
JP Nadda, the party president, extended congratulations to NDA allies on the imminent third term of government, attributing the achievement to Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“History is in the making as the NDA will form a government for the third consecutive time with a clear majority,” stated Nadda, underscoring the significance of the upcoming term under Modi’s leadership.
