On Sunday, the Namo Yuva Run saw young people flood city streets across India, all joining a massive marathon against drug use.
Hosted in 75 cities at once, the event formed part of the BJP’s Sewa Pakhwada, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday with energy and resolve.
Organisers from the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha designed the run to mix exercise, public spirit and a clear stand against addiction.
In Delhi, leaders like Manoj Tiwari and Alka Gurjar set the pace.
Manoj Tiwari highlighted the event’s success in pulling large crowds and spreading the word on both wellness and responsibility.

Union Minister Raj Bhushan Choudhary called on young people to fight both obesity and addiction. Furthermore, pressing for a stronger India shaped by healthy habits.
The city’s rally in Mumbai saw a robust turnout, with Devendra Fadnavis, Tejasvi Surya and Milind Soman joining the crowd.
The Jaipur segment was inaugurated by CM Bhajanlal Sharma, inspiring citizens to engage. In Jodhpur, Union Minister Shekhawat started the race and praised community efforts for health and sobriety.
Madan Rathore of the BJP emphasised that the marathon forms part of a wider campaign featuring blood drives, wellness initiatives and clean-up programs.
Leaders from Uttar Pradesh to Odisha enthusiastically supported participants. Agra’s Deputy CM Maurya focused on unity, development and sobriety.
The marathon transformed into a joyous celebration of movement and hope. The youth took the lead, sending a powerful message: they are ready to run for a healthier, addiction-free tomorrow.
