N Chandrababu Naidu Says PM Modi Has Empowered States To Drive Growth

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that states today enjoy greater opportunities to innovate, compete, and accelerate growth under the current governance framework.

In an article marking 4,399 consecutive days of PM Modi’s Prime Ministership on June 10, 2026, Naidu said India has undergone a profound transformation. He noted that the country has regained cultural confidence while embracing modern governance and economic reforms.

Naidu reflected on his decades in public life and said PM Modi successfully combined India’s civilisational heritage with contemporary development strategies. He credited the Prime Minister with restoring national self-belief and strengthening India’s global standing.

Naidu highlighted initiatives such as Jan Dhan accounts, Aadhaar integration, UPI, and Direct Benefit Transfers, describing them as major instruments of financial inclusion. He said these reforms helped millions gain direct access to welfare benefits while eliminating intermediaries.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also praised the government’s emphasis on technology, digital governance and infrastructure development.

According to Naidu, investments in highways, ports, airports, freight corridors, railways, renewable energy and manufacturing have laid the foundation for long-term economic expansion.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister further said cooperative federalism has empowered states to become engines of development rather than administrative units. He pointed to Andhra Pradesh’s collaboration with the Centre on infrastructure, industrialisation and technology-led initiatives.

Naidu stated that PM Modi’s vision extends beyond economic growth to restoring India’s confidence and global influence. He expressed confidence that India will steadily advance towards the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047, guided by strong leadership, innovation and inclusive development.
