The Muslim Women Intellectual Conference convened around the vision of a Developed India and Mission 2047. It provided a dynamic platform for dialogue, reflection, and decisive action on the nation’s future.

Nearly 100 accomplished Muslim women from across India attended the event at the India International Centre, New Delhi. They included doctors, engineers, scientists, academicians, researchers, and social workers.

They further shared experiences and voiced a resolute commitment to national progress.

Dr Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member of the RSS and Patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, chaired the proceedings.

Prominent attendees included Dr Shahid Akhtar (NCMEI), Colonel Tahir Mustafa (Jamia Hamdard University), journalist Naghma Sahar, social worker Dr Shalini Ali, Waqf Board member Sabiha Naz, and Drs. Shaista and Asra Akhtar.

Their presence, however, enriched the discussions and added credibility.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Kumar emphasised that India’s Muslims are not tenants, but rightful landlords of the country.

He asserted that those choosing India post-1947 remain integral to its fabric. He urged the community to focus on children, education, and the nation’s future while resisting divisive narratives from a fringe minority.

Dr Kumar highlighted women as pivotal to India’s progress, linking their education directly to the nation’s development. He further advocated equal opportunities for sons and daughters and a balance between religious and secular learning.

Dr Kumar emphasised that honest contributions are the pathway to a Developed India.

Journalist Naghma Sahar stressed that education remains the most potent tool, noting that Muslim women often outshine their male peers in dedication.

Dr Shalini Ali praised women’s multifaceted roles as daughters, educators, and family leaders and warned against social media misuse that spreads misinformation and discord.

Waqf Board member Sabiha Naz urged systemic strengthening of education to empower the community socially, economically, and intellectually.

The conference concluded with a powerful message of education, patriotism, social cohesion, and women’s empowerment. It, however, demonstrated that Muslim women are ready to actively contribute to building a developed and harmonious India.
