Mosquito Repellent killed 6 in a house in Delhi
Something as harmless as mosquito-repellent incense sticks can kill people. It has indeed killed in the Capital city of Delhi. According to the investigation by Delhi Police some people were living in a rented house in the Shastri Park area. While sleeping, there were 9 people in the room.
A mosquito repellent was lit to kill mosquitoes but the same ended up killing 6 people of the room. They died of suffocation, rest police investigation is still going on. Amongst the dead, a woman and a one-and-a-half-year-old are also included.
The case in depth
The investigation thus far reveals that incense sticks with a mosquito-repelling scent were put close to the bed. The room’s entrances and windows were all shut. The incense sticks also caused the bedding to catch fire. As a result, the room was filled with carbon dioxide, and individuals began to suffocate.

Police took the necessary actions
Upon getting the information, the police reached and took everyone to the hospital. Six people were declared brought dead, while one was discharged after first aid. Along with the 15-year-old girl, another person is undergoing treatment.
District Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey has confirmed the whole incident. According to him, at 9 am on Friday, the police was informed that some people were found unconscious in the house. With the help of the local people, all were admitted to Jag Pravesh Chand Hospital, out of which 6 were declared dead by the doctor.
