Rajya Sabha mourns the deceased members

Manipur violence – the matter of concern

Bharat Rashtra Samithi floor leaders and MPs would bring up the violence in Manipur in both houses of parliament. They are anticipated to demand that the Union Government take decisive action and speedily punish those responsible for the molestation event in accordance with the law.

The party wrote on Twitter, “We appeal to all parties cutting across the political spectrum to stand with the peace-loving people of Manipur who deserve better from their Governments.”

Former BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao previously pleaded with the Prime Minister and Home Minister to act to safeguard Manipur, specifically citing a recent instance in which Kuki women were the victims of a mob’s sexual assault.
