‘Modi kahin nahi jaayega’ slogan echoes in Banaskantha as BJP leaders respond to Mallikarjun Kharge’s remark about PM Modi.

'Modi Kahin Nahi Jaayega' Slogan Echoes In Gujarat After Kharge's Remark

The slogan ‘Modi kahin nahi jaayega’ (PM Modi will not go anywhere) echoed across Gujarat’s Banaskantha district on Friday during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.

Students raised the slogan as PM Modi arrived to inaugurate and launch development projects.

Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi led the public show of support at a gathering in Bhildi. He said people had raised the slogan in villages during public programmes and cleanliness drives ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.

Sanghavi urged the crowd to repeat the slogan and linked PM Modi’s leadership to India’s development goals. He said the country needed to become a leading global economy, a manufacturing hub and a self-reliant nation. He further cited goals such as eliminating poverty, providing permanent homes to poor families and creating more Lakhpati Didis.

The slogan emerged as a political response to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s remark at an event in Patna on October 25.

During a discussion on alleged irregularities in electoral roll revision, Kharge responded to a heckler by saying, ‘Modi ka baap bhi jayega’.

BJP leaders criticised the comment as an objectionable reference to PM Modi’s late father.

At Bhildi, Sanghavi accused Congress leaders of repeatedly using abusive language against the Prime Minister and his family.

Assembly Speaker and Banas Dairy Chairman Shankar Chaudhary said the Narmada water network and Sujalam Sufalam scheme had transformed Banaskantha. He added that Banas Dairy had boosted livestock owners’ annual earnings.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel highlighted the 24th PM-KISAN instalment, dairy projects and improvements in road and rail connectivity.

The visit marked 25 years since PM Modi first took the oath as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001.

The programme included the release of the PM-KISAN instalment and projects across agriculture, dairy and infrastructure.
