Mob Allegedly Lynches Migrant Worker in Kerala, Leading to 10 Arrests

At least ten individuals have been apprehended following the suspected mob lynching incident involving a 24-year-old migrant worker in Kerala’s Muvattupuzha two days ago.

The victim, identified as Asok Das from Arunachal Pradesh, had ventured to the southern state in pursuit of employment opportunities and was residing in a rented accommodation in Valakam, Muvattupuzha.

Allegedly, he caused a disturbance outside the residence of a former female colleague near Valakom junction on Thursday night. Subsequently, a group detained him, tied him to a pole, and subjected him to interrogation. While reports indicate that the mob also assaulted him, residents have refuted such claims.
