Earlier, PM Modi wished the countrymen a Happy Rakshabandhan on the social media platform X. He wrote, “Many best wishes to all the countrymen on the festival of Rakshabandhan, a symbol of immense affection between brother and sister. May this holy festival bring new sweetness to your relationships and happiness, prosperity, and good fortune in your lives.”

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her wishes to the countrymen on Rakshabandhan.
